Our graphic designers and qualified Apple Macintosh operators are operating 16 hours per day, interfaced with high quality scanners and Computer to Plate A1 imagesetter, utilising the latest versions of software programs that include, Quark Xpress, Freehand, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, InDesign and PageMaker.

Our Pre-press team have extensive experience in typesetting, colour correction and design of all types of publications.

We currently supply high quality, full colour accurate digital proofs and low resolution double-sided SpinJet proofs. Lane's proofs are calibrated to simulate our presses and use full dot reproduction process. These digital proofs are used for pre-press approval by our customers and act as a benchmark guide for quality control during printing.

Lane's colour proofs are generated from the same files as used to produce the computer plates, guaranteeing full integrity of "what you see is what you get".
