About Us
The Provincial Government of West Java has been actively
working with the West Java Regencies and Parliamentarians of West
Java to improve the water and wastewater services for the people
of West Java. Working on the premise of one resource one plan
one integrated management, the West Java Government has developed
an innovative and integrated approach to Water Reform. The responsibility
for development of water services resides with the Provincial and
Regional Governments in accordance with Keppress 22.
Water services reform is a key element of the development
of West Java's economy. The West Java Government has decided to
provide a program of reform that they can facilitate in conjunction
with private sector investors. The aim of the program is to provide
clean water to all properties within West Java. The initial development
areas being facilitated by the Provincial Government is the reform
of water and wastewater services to Greater Bandung, Cirebon, Indramayu,
Kuningan, Bekasi and Bogor.
The Government organisation charged with implementing
this program is the West Java Water Corporation.Other Regencies
will be progressively involved in the reform program.
The West Java Water Corporation is owned by the Provincial
Government and the Regencies of West Java for and on behalf of the
people of West Java.
